Chapter 4 Running Into Him Again
- Tilly shrugged in response. "It's impossible. He and I are like parallel lines that never intersect. Forget about him falling for me; I don't even have the chance to meet him."
- "Well, haven't you gotten excited for nothing?"
- The Hart Family was one of the most prominent families in Bradfort City. Being part of the Stark Family, Myra naturally knew about the Harts, and Tony was the fourth child of the Hart Family, with an elder sister and two elder brothers. The sister was married, and the brothers were either in the military or politics. Tony was the apple of Old Master Hart's eye, although there were rumors that he had rebelled against the family's wishes and didn't want to inherit the Hart Group. However, for reasons unknown, he suddenly returned and took over the company. As the heir of the Hart Family, endowed with handsome looks, a tall stature, and a high social status, he was indeed the object of admiration for many young women.
- Myra glanced at the magazine cover. These eyes seem familiar… Where have I seen them before? Myra shook her head, attributing it to the fact that he had saved her last night, hence the familiarity.
- "I bet I'll smile even in my dreams if I can get a close look at this hot magnate."
- Myra smiled faintly, organized the documents she had just read, and placed them in Tilly's arms. "Let's go. We have an important task at hand now. We're going to Tony Hart's company."
- Myra speculated that she probably wouldn't get to meet Tony himself since she was just a team leader in the design department. Still, she wanted to thank him in person.
- "Wow, Miss Stark, is it about the Sunny Bay Luxury Community project by Hart Group? Weren't you supposed to wait for Miss Foster before heading over?"
- "I can't wait for her anymore. You'll fill in for her today."
- …
- When Myra drove her white BMW into the underground parking lot of Hart Group, two Bentleys brushed against her car as they pulled out.
- The lead Bentley Mulsanne was particularly eye-catching, and Myra believed it was the flagship product unveiled at last year's Bentley event in London—if she remembered correctly—the only one of its kind globally, rumored to have been bought by a mysterious businessman.
- As their gazes met, Myra faintly saw a man sitting in the back of the Bentley Mulsanne. The dim lighting only revealed a dark silhouette, cold and noble. His profile seemed familiar—it was the man who had saved her last night.
- As if sensing something, the man in the back suddenly opened his eyes. However, Myra's car had already passed by him.
- After circling the parking lot, she finally found a regular visitor parking spot. Then, as Myra and Tilly entered the elevator, its doors were about to close when a hand suddenly appeared, stopping them from shutting.
- "Sorry, mind if a few more people join the elevator?"
- A group of men had approached, impeccably dressed in suits, with serious expressions, clearly elite figures in some industry. The one who spoke had a relatively gentle demeanor and looked at Myra, who shook her head with slight stupefaction.
- The man smiled at her, stepped aside, and moved to the back, evidently just an assistant-level figure.
- Suddenly, Tilly gasped behind her and nudged her back, causing her to look up and meet a pair of deep, expressionless eyes.
- It's him!
- Myra hadn't expected to share an elevator with someone at the CEO level. She couldn't help but admit that Tony was the most handsome and mature among them, also the tallest, appearing to be in his mid-thirties. He wore a well-tailored black suit, accentuating his already impressive stature.
- He exuded an extraordinary demeanor with a subtle hint of dominance. Yet, he remained restrained and calm, complemented by a clean white shirt that captivated one's gaze. If it weren't for Sean's angry interrogation last night, she wouldn't have believed that the person who saved her was the CEO of a conglomerate.
- Sensing Myra's gaze, the man's eyes casually swept over her, and his impeccably straight legs stepped into the elevator.
- The cold aura intimidated Myra somewhat. Perhaps… he doesn't want others to know about our connection. She looked somewhat embarrassedly at the expressionless man beside her. Because they were standing side by side, Myra could only see the clean yet sharp contours of his profile, like a blade, exuding a chilling aura that warned strangers to keep their distance.
- If she remembered correctly, someone like Tony would have his own private elevator and wouldn't need to squeeze into a public one…
