Chapter 28

• I felt cooler, and was thankful for that, then realized I was in water. Opening my eyes, I saw green eyes I knew very well. “Hi.” I said to Victor.
• He searched my face, worry filling his. “You had me worried when you passed out after we got in.”
• “I don’t feel so wrong now.” I assured him. My arms still felt heavy and my back still hurt, but I could see clearly again, and that was a nice start. He was holding me in the big tub so I was almost leaning back in the water, but not touching it at the same time. I don’t know how he fit all of him in here too, but he was leaning over me, watching me.
