Chapter 8 Her Rejection

  • Before Cecilia could say anything, Harrison met her lips.
  • "Bang!"
  • The door was shut, and the two of them collided with the door panel.
  • Harrison pinched Cecilia's waist. He kissed her passionately before finally letting go of her lips, moving towards her neck…
  • Cecilia gently pushed him away, "Mr. Grant!"
  • "Hm?" He responded, his head still buried in Cecilia's neck. His hair brushed against her chin, sending a tingling sensation through her.
  • Cecilia pushed him away again.
  • It was obvious she was rejecting him!
  • Harrison was unhappy.
  • At the same time, due to her doubts, Francesca investigated Cecilia. That night, after she had dinner with Harrison at the Grant Family's, Harrison sent her home.
  • Then, Francesca tailed him to the apartment. She wanted to follow him into the building, but the security measures of the high-end apartment were very strict.
  • She was not a resident there and couldn't get in at all. She could only wait in the car.
  • "Damn it!"
  • She called Harrison.
  • He answered, his voice hoarse, "What's up?"
  • "Harrison, where are you?"
  • Harrison's voice sounded displeased, "It's so late, and you called me just to ask this question?"
  • "…"
  • "If there's nothing else, I'm hanging up."
  • Harrison hung up the phone.
  • He threw his phone aside. However, he didn't notice that he accidentally dialed Francesca's number again as he threw the phone away.
  • Francesca answered, "Harrison?"
  • She called out his name, but no one responded.
  • Then, she heard the sounds through the phone.
  • It was Cecilia Young!
  • She had received information from the investigators she hired that Cecilia lived in that apartment!
  • That damn woman, she's having an affair with Harrison! She thought.
  • Francesca clenched her fists. She didn't hang up the phone but continued to listen to the sounds inside…
  • In the apartment, the man threw the phone away and pulled the woman over.
  • His eyes, full of desire, were dark and intimidating. He locked his gaze on Cecilia.
  • "What's wrong? Do you still want money?" He asked.
  • Without waiting for her to answer, he continued, "Please me and I'll give it to you later!"
  • As he spoke, his face came closer again. Once again sealing her lips, devouring her breath…
  • He lifted her high and pressed her up against the door.
  • His dark eyes resembled a terrifying beast, his voice hoarse and frightening, "Cecilia, I can't have enough of you!"
  • It was unknown how much time had passed.
  • Cecilia was carried to the bedroom by the man and was thrown onto the bed.
  • The man, unsatisfied, immediately leaned down again.
  • "No," she reached out her hands to stop the man.
  • Harrison's eyes were full of anger, "Cecilia Young, quit playing hard to get. Weren't you enjoying it just now? Huh?"
  • "…"
  • Her cheeks were flushed. Her misty eyes lingered on Harrison. She looked so innocent, yet he couldn't hide his desire to do his way with her.
  • "Damn it!" Harrison cursed under his breath, "Cecilia Young, you're making me crazy!"
  • He didn't stop.
  • The man had only been away on a business trip for a few days, yet he was acting like a ferocious wolf. It was frightening! He wanted nothing more than to devour every bit of Cecilia.
  • Outside the apartment, Francesca was mad. She gritted her teeth and hung up the phone. Then she smashed her phone against the car window.
  • With a loud bang, the phone shattered into pieces.
  • "Cecilia Young, you slut. I'll make you pay for seducing my man!"
  • The night was pitch black.
  • When everything had quieted down, it was already two hours later!
  • Harrison lay contentedly on the bed. He lit a cigarette and looked at the woman beside him with his dark eyes, "Tell me, how much money do you want this time?"
  • Cecilia hesitated before saying, "I don't want money."
  • "Oh?"
  • He was a bit surprised. In the past four years he had been with her, she had always done it for money.
  • "Mr. Grant, you already have a fiancée. We can't go on like this. She'll cause trouble for me!"
  • Harrison was a bit confused.
  • He exhaled a puff of white smoke and inquired, "What, are you jealous? You don't want me to have a fiancée?"
  • "No."
  • She didn't have the right to be jealous, nor did she dare to think about preventing this man from having a fiancée.
  • But, "We can't continue like this!" She said.
  • In the past, she was fine with this relationship with him. She took his money, and in exchange, she satisfied his needs. Now that he has a fiancée, she was put into a complicated situation.
  • "Mr. Grant, I don't want to get into trouble."
