  • The rain was pouring and I was soaked from head to toe, but I didn’t let it bother me. We were in Drew’s huge backyard, doing what we do best-- fighting.
  • I folded my arms over my chest and stared at the twins dead in the eyes.
  • “Again!” I shouted at the top of my voice, willing them to move. They looked exhausted, even though they were hybrids, but I didn’t care. Our enemies were hybrids too, so there could be no sign of weakness.
