Chapter 78 The Orphaned Pups

• After talking about the ambush and the damage I did to the Jeep, Jess has had enough waiting and starts dragging me down the road. I don't recognize anything around me, but that's not a surprise since I was never allowed out of the orphanage. Finally, we come to a stop in front of a burned-down building.
• "Jess, where are we?" I ask her, and she gives me a pointed look.
• "This is where we used to live." She tells me as I look at the scorched building. I can't believe this is real. I never in a million years believed I would be back in this pack, not to mention standing in front of this horrible orphanage.
