Chapter 21 Their Emerald Eyes

• As we make our way towards Rains' room, I link Evan, the guard who was standing guard at her door, and told him to inform Jessica that we were coming and that I needed her in the hall when we arrive. I want to explain things to her first so that she doesn't feel blindsided by everything, and maybe she can even help us explain it to Rain. I also link the King to explain my thought process, and he agrees. When we arrive at Rains' room, Jessica is already standing in the hall waiting for us.
• "Lady Ezmerelda, I would like to introduce you to my mate Jessica, Rains' sister," I say, then turn to Jessica. "This is Lady Ezmerelda, Rains' mother."
