Chapter 22 The Kings Mate

• After about an hour of having a conversation with my newly found mother, I start to feel overwhelmed and subconsciously reach for my mates' hand. He automatically realized what was going on and told everyone I needed rest. They said their goodbyes and Gamma Sam said he would show my mother to her room. I said thank you, and they left.
• "Thank you for everything," I say to my mate.
• "How are you dealing with all of this?" He asked, and I shrugged my shoulders.
