Chapter 23 Drowning

  • Juliana
  • I was drowning as I found myself trapped underwater, the water was twirling around me and I felt suffocation by the immersion of water. The water fills my mouth causing the nose to cut off the supply of my body's supply of oxygen. I struggle to stay conscious to avoid giving up the remaining tidal air in my lungs. Struggling to breath-hold I felt a loud bang at my heart, the more I battled to breathe I felt a painful sensation in my heart. My heart aches as the water enters my lungs.
  • Breathing was not an option, my heart aches more than pain as the water swirls me around. Rolling me, pulling me deep, deep towards the depth of the water. Weaving me around like a weightless being.
