Chapter 18 Hurt

• It has been two days after the torture, and I have started adjusting to the rules even though I still have my plans of setting them free at the back of my head. I ensured to carry on with my duties and moved on like I have no plans. I make sure to avoid their boss Carter, or anything that has to do with him.
• We were assigned specific chores, Ariana was washing the toilets and their bathrooms while mine was for cooking food. I sometimes wonder how she was able to pull up with the washing of that disgusting place but it seems like she has no choice, and besides nobody's says matters here. Seeing her scrubbing and tidying the place, hurts me. She is too old for all this but those rascals don't care.
