Chapter 4 Please Be Gentle
- As soon as they reached his room, James place her on the bed and continued to make out with her.
- Soon, her dress was thrown to the floor.
- She had nothing but black undergarment on her body.
- James unhooked her bra and pulled it from her.
- She looked as delectable as she was three years ago, triggering intense desire in him.
- James embraced and caressed her…
- Her moans acted like a catalyst, intensifying his desire.
- He resisted his painful arousal and trailed warm kisses down her belly.
- He did not want her to feel pain like three years ago.
- Clara was a little afraid. However, the unfamiliar sensation caused warm wetness to flow from her nether region.
- "Jon, please be gentle." Clara said in a trembling voice.
- James suddenly went still and stopped moving his hands. He frowned and looked at her flushed face with a conflicted expression.
- Her lashes fluttered even as she closed her eyes.
- James finally realized she did not know who he was.
- He closed his eyes and got up in frustration.
- His dick remained erect.
- Thus, he rushed into the bathroom and turned on the shower.
- His head was showered with cold water.
- His irises grew darker.
- He stayed in the shower until he calmed down.
- Then, he returned to the bedroom to find Clara asleep, but her clothes were still on the floor.
- Her slender bare legs looked alluring on the bed.
- James helped her to put on her clothes and tucked her gently under the blanket. Then, he sat at the head of the bed and watched her.
- The room was silent. It seemed like the passion from just now was only a figment of his imagination.
- Three years ago, I ruined her for the first time.
- Is that why she has a troubled relationship with her husband? Is it my fault?
- Remorse flashed across his eyes.
- He got up from the bed and went out of the room.
- Lieutenant Colonel Adler came to him holding a contraceptive. "Chief, she has to take this within 72 hours to prevent pregnancy."
- James raised his eyebrows and replied, "She doesn't need this."
- "Is she in her safe period?" Lieutenant Colonel Adler asked in a surprised tone.
- James looked at Lieutenant Colonel Adler coldly. He seemed threatening like a killer.
- Thus, Lieutenant Colonel Adler looked down and did not dare to meet his gaze.
- "I need you to arrange a female staff to take care of her. Also, you are to forget everything you saw tonight." James ordered.
- "Understood." Lieutenant Colonel Adler answered.
- The following morning, Clara woke up with a severe headache from a hangover.
- She sat on the bed and glanced at her surroundings.
- The bedsheet was green like military camouflage. There was a bookshelf opposite the bed filled with books.
- It was a man's room.
- Clara frowned and could only remember Aari giving her a glass of water. Everything went blank after that.
- I must have blacked out from drinking too much.
- As Clara was about to get up, James came to her with a vanity bag.
- She looked up and accidentally met his gaze. She was stunned for a moment.
- He is the chief who saved me yesterday.
- But why can't I remember how I got here.
- "Sorry, I was drunk yesterday. May I know where this is?" Clara asked apologetically.
- James replied calmly. "I brought you here."
- Then, he handed her the vanity bag. "There are toiletries here. You should wash up first."
- Clara accepted the vanity bag and thanked him. However, she gasped when she opened the bag.
- Everything came from a luxury brand in France. Even a bottle of shower cream would cost a hefty sum.
- "I… I can't take this." Clara placed the vanity bag on the couch beside the bed.
- She felt awkward and headed to the door to leave.
- "Have some breakfast first before you go." James said in a deep voice.
- Clara glanced towards the dining table and saw two glasses of smoothies, plates of omelets, and bread.
- "The smoothie will help with the hangover. You should drink it first." James said.
- Clara hesitated.
- She was not sure whether it was only her imagination. Somehow, she kept feeling that James had some opinion about her.
- Could I have said something bad when I was drunk?
- "Did I say anything inappropriate when I was drunk yesterday?" Clara asked worriedly.
- James looked up from the book he was reading and replied indifferently, "Why you think you have said something inappropriate?"
- Did I really say something inappropriate?
- Clara's face flushed with embarrassment.
- She smiled awkwardly. "I have a tendency to talk nonsense when I'm drunk. Please don't believe anything I said."
- He looked up with dark and unfathomable eyes, pausing at her flushed cheeks and taking in her nervous and shy expression. Suddenly, he narrowed his gaze, and his eyes turned cold.
- Her embarrassed expression reminded him of last night.
- She had called out Jon's name even as she moaned beneath James' body.
