• With terrified eyes, I looked at Beta Matthew, confused by what he had just done. My heart pounded in my chest as I watched Beta Matthew and Alpha Edward glaring at each other with eyes filled with anger. Fear gripped me, and I had to get down from the bed as I watched them exchanging daggering glares.
