• The door opened, and Matthew stepped in, which made my brow furrow because I was surprised to see him arriving so early.
• “How are you, Alpha Edward?” Matthew asked as he stepped closer to me. “Are you okay?” he asked again, and I grunted. “I feel so terrible, Matthew. I feel worthless,” I spat with anger, my eyes settled outside the window. I hated my helplessness and wished I could just get off this fucking chair.
