Chapter 37 Matteo Wants You

• Isabella's train of thought was interrupted as the door opened, causing her to jolt up into a sitting posture and place her hand on the table to observe who had invaded her office without knocking. She let out a sigh of relief when she saw Sofia standing at the doorway. She had thought it was her boss who had entered the office.
• "What exactly do you want?" Isabella inquired. She was still reeling from the notion that Sofia had intentionally set her up to be raped. She was baffled as to why Sofia was here after what she did. Could it be possible that she came in here to apologize? Isabella felt skeptical about this!
• Sofia stood motionless, her hands clenched into fists on either side of her body; she was battling with her emotions not to let them get the best of her after receiving an order that Matteo demanded for Isabella's presence on the rooftop. A few minutes ago, she received a call from Matteo ordering her to escort Isabella to the rooftop. She clinched her teeth and furrowed her eyebrows, casting Isabella a deadly glare. She was being envious that Isabella was the first woman to spend personal time with Matteo on the rooftop, something he never does because he prefers being alone. In fact, he hated women being around him, especially at his favorite spot where he loved to spend time alone, which was on the rooftop.
