• The next morning, I opened my eyes and stretched before I turned to find Sin gone. The bathroom light was off, and the sheets beside me were cold. I couldn’t stop the disappointment I felt.
• Getting up from the bed, I hurriedly freshened up, changing into a pair of black jeans and a yellow sweatshirt. My hair was tied up into a ponytail, and my face was bare of makeup.
