• Dax and Marcus had been attacked by packs of rogue lycans. These breeds of lycans are among the most feared breeds in the paranormal world. They don’t take slaves or prisoners, their aim is only to destroy any being — lycans or werewolves who they perceive as a threat to them.
• Sometimes these rogue lycans are more like merchants. They receive pay from whoever needs their services to assassinate someone.
