Chapter 30

While Oscar and Dax had their talk pend, The relationship between Dax and Aria once again was becoming a shadow of the past. Dax had to sought the support of Blaire, his former mate. He hoped she could convince Aria, his new mate, to trust him. Little did he know that this plea would set off a chain of events that would test the limits of love and loyalty.
Blaire's heart burned with jealousy. Her love for Dax had not waned, and seeing him with another woman ignited a fire within her. She vowed to do whatever it took to win him back. Aria, on the other hand, couldn't understand why her sister harbored such animosity towards her. She longed for their sisterly bond to be restored, but Blaire's resentment only grew stronger with each passing day.
One evening as Oscar returned from a hunting trip he was shocked to witness the tension between the Aria and Dax since he had presumed that they've settled their differences. Anger flared within him as he learned of Blaire's desperate attempts to undermine Dax's happiness. Determined to make amends, Oscar confronted Blaire, urging her to let go of her bitterness. However, as their conversation progressed, he couldn't help but inquire about Damien, Dax's stepbrother, who had mysteriously disappeared.
