Chapter 27
- Kiara:
- “Well, Niklaus, how about you show me what you can do?” The man said looking at Klaus. Niklaus pulled me to stand behind him, his body tensing as he looked at the man who was suddenly standing in front of us, a smirk on his face. I couldn’t help but frown as my hands shook, this being the first time I’ve ever encountered anything like this.
- Children from around us hid behind their mother, fear in their eyes, fathers and young men kept their women or children well hidden behind them, protecting them from this man who was smirking a calm expression on his face despite the fear he knew he was radiating. Niklaus kept his hand in front of me, telling me not to get closer. I didn’t move from behind him, knowing that whatever we were about to deal with right now was nowhere near being sane or normal.
