• “What do you mean that the human bastard wants to speak to me?” I asked Ian, my younger brother who had come to pay me a visit this morning, King Leonardo had dared call for my brother to speak to me, my eyes flaring as I looked at my younger brother who shook his head at me wanting me to calm down and listen to him before getting angrier than necessary, which was not possible when that thing, well king, was mentioned, the vision of him raising his hand on my mate still fresh in my brain, especially since it had been only two nights ago.
• “He called for me yesterday, he wants to speak to you for some reason” Ian said, his blue eyes meeting mine, he ran his fingers through his black hair as he saw my angered expression, though he didn’t seem phased by it as he knew that it wasn’t directed to him, he was simply delivering a message while that king had the nerve to even think that I would be looking his way, he was lucky that I hadn’t killed him for trying to break his part of the deal in the first place, had it been another king, hell, had it been him, he would’ve been sure to have my heart in a stake, claiming that I was an unworthy king.
