• Without a second glance my way, Shane walks quickly out of the dungeons and I trip a few times as he pulls me up the stairs. Shane is angry, I can feel it. He doesn’t look at me as we walk out into the hallway, or when he slams the door shut after I walk out.
• We make it maybe four steps when he turns around and I am shoved up against the wall. My back makes contact first and I cry out when my head follows. The world is spinning as my brain rattles in my head.
