• Tony stopped at his track, his body stiff and brows furrowed, his legs rooted to the spot. He couldn't fathom what warranted the unideal request from Mariam. His eyes searched for hers in confusion and bewilderment.
• "Why would you ask that, what's going on Mariam," Tony finally muttered, his voice low but still firm and steady. "I love you Tony and I want you, please make me feel like a woman, don't reject me," Mariam responded, her eyes were pleading and she looked so innocent and vulnerable at that very moment.
