Chapter 9 The Cyber Attack

• The smile was almost on my face but I held back as I didn’t know what Wayan’s decision would be after Tyler’s call. Would he let me go? Or would he insist that I stay back home?
• “Fine. We will be there,” Wayan said before ending the call and slowly turning to look at me.
• I swallowed the thrill that was already sizzling out of me and stared innocently at him. The voices in my head were already screaming at me but I calmed them down. This was not the time to react. Whatever his decision was, I had to find a way to convince him otherwise.
