• “Why the hell did you take out your earpiece and go against my orders?” Wayan gritted out the moment I returned to the hideout.
• From the corner of my eyes, I could see Tyler and the rest of the crew watching us with concern but none dared say a word. They only watched. I started to wonder if they feared Wayan that much or if it was just respect that I couldn’t comprehend.
• “Wayan, I am sorry. I saw the opportunity to get the job done and I did. I am sorry if you didn’t approve of my ways…” I said softly.
