Chapter 57
- My eyes shot open only to find myself covered in sweat. Dream, it was a dream. Letting out a shaky breath, I swipe a hand over my face. I grumbled under my breath, trying not to remember them again. They looked real, dad was smiling, mom was smiling and they held hands together. They were standing in front of a white door, which opened, they were waving at me. It was more like saying they were never going to see me again.
- I can tell by the light in the room that it was morning. What happened yesterday? How did I end up sleeping?. I only remembered being on the sofa with Aiden before blacking out.
- Mere thinking about it made my head throb painfully. Groaning, I place the heel of my hands on my eyes and start massaging my scalp with my fingers as I believed it would ease the pain.
