Chapter 55

• I watched Aiden check his phone, running his eyes on them, then another hand placed on his hip curled up in a fist. I didn't know what was happening right now but all I knew was that seeing him this angry, something must have happened. I heard footsteps rushing towards me and I turned, then saw Jeremy, panting heavily.
• He didn't acknowledge me but immediately pushed the door to Aiden's room open.
• "I know about it," Aiden said, barely in a whisper. Jeremy bent down and clutched his heart as if trying to catch some breath.
