Chapter 30 Exposed

• Rays of the morning sun hit Royce on the face and he turned to the other side. He had forgotten what had happened and where he slept. As he sat up, memories of how he came in contact with Elaine flooded his memory. He groaned, feeling a mild headache.
• He had been on the run after the incident with his guardian's wife. He worked multiple jobs and always got far away from where Gideon stayed. He was on his way to an interview when he had bumped into Elaine.
• "That stubborn woman..." He cussed and got out of bed. Since he didn't have anything to wear, he just wore his old clothes and went down. He saw Elaine smiling radiantly in her nightmare. But who was she smiling with? As he advanced, he got to see Blake.
