Chapter 28 "I've Finally Found You"

• Hilary, instantly alert, started moving back, despite her legs feeling like jelly. But her back was met with a closed and locked door. She wanted to speak up but seeing the man on the couch made her lose all senses.
• "My love... Did you think you could hide from your one and only?" He clicked his tongue and bit his inner jaw. To him, she looked as beautiful as the last time he saw her. He had prepared a wonderful dinner to propose to her but when she found out about his illegal dealings, she broke up with him.
• Not wanting to let such a sweet soul go into the hands of another man, he started tracking her every move, making sure that no man ever got close to her.
