Chapter 27 Claire Confronts Elaine

• Hilary's once angry expression turned to amusement as she stared at the two of them. They weren't exactly close for comfort but Hilary couldn't help a certain feeling she felt.
• "Maybe they came to get something for work. They seem professional to me." Elaine shrugged and faced her cake, taking a bite out of it.
• "Not that it's any of my business." Hilary watched how Blanca kept to herself and often smiled when her partner spoke something. Peering her ear to listen, she heard him talking about work. Even Blanca chipped in about how nervous and excited she was.
