Chapter 12 Handsome Alpha

• "Alpha Elijah!" Alpha William greeted them as soon as he saw him.
• "I'm sorry for how I look because I went to the forest and did something important. I forgot the time of your arrival," Elijah said, all apologetic.
• "I understand. The matters of our tribe are of the utmost importance to a ruler like us," William replied with a smile.
• "Welcome to the Crystal city, even if it's too late for me to welcome you. I have made sure that you have all your essentials ready when you stay here with us," Elijah said.
• He walked ahead and headed to where the family would be staying.
• "Just like you want, you will have your kitchen for your cooks, and only your servants can enter your place of accommodation," Elijah explained.
• "Thank you so much for giving such importance to my wishes," William replied.
• "Rest first, I'll just clean up, and if you have any wishes, I'll have servants sent out to pick up your wants," Elijah said before leaving.
• When Elijah left, William"s appearance immediately changed.
• "Disrespectful Alpha! The audacity of him to keep me from waiting!" William emphatically said. He walked to the balcony, and there he lit a cigarette.
• Luna Elizabeth came over and handed him a glass of wine.
• "Elijah explained to you his reasons. Just think... the time when Samantha will finally be Luna in this pack," Elizabeth said. Then she caressed William's back and kissed him passionately.
• "Excuse me! I'm still here!" Samantha frowned. She just went to the bathroom, and when she came back, her parents were already kissing.
• "And for what reason are you doing here? Go back to your room," Elizabeth ordered.
• Samantha didn't answer as she quickly left the room and went straight to hers, located on the other side of the place. "Now what?" She asked herself.
• Out of impatience, Samantha decided to take Seraphine on tour. She was sure Elijah wouldn't have time for her yet.
• Because she didn't know the place, Samantha immediately got lost. But she ignored it and just kept walking until she reached the garden.
• She was immediately fascinated by the flowers that were there. They were colorful, unlike those in the garden in Fenrir, where only one type of flower was being planted.
• But her fondness for flowers disappeared because of the roar of her heart and the booming voice of her wolf.
• "Mate! Mate! Mate!" Her wolf cried. Samantha looked up, and she met a pair of gray eyes. She stared, and the eyes seemed to be smiling at her.
• "I did not expect that on my return, I would find who the Goddess destined to be my mate."
• "I'm sorry, but if I'm the one you're referring to, you're mistaken. I've already found my mate," Samantha replied.
• "Really? You can't fool me. My wolf was screaming and seemed crazy – calling you repeatedly."
• "Perhaps I need to introduce myself to you, I am Samantha, the daughter of the alpha of the Blood Moon pack, and I am destined to be the Luna of the Crystal pack," Samantha stressed. After stating her thoughts, Samantha turned around to leave.
• But she almost fainted when she felt the electricity creep into her core as her mate touched her— to stop her from leaving.
• "Feel that? You can't deny me. I'm Alex Collin, the Beta of the Crystal pack..."
• Samantha threw away Alex's hand that was holding her. "As I already told you, I'm the mate of your Alpha, Elijah Clark!" Samantha insisted, and she stepped away from him.
• "Elijah is my best friend. He will relent to our wishes if I only ask," Alex said confidently.
• "Don't you dare tell anything to Elijah!" Samantha retorted.
• "Why?"
• "Because I, Samantha, the daughter of alpha William, reject Alex Collin, the Beta of Crystal pack!" Samantha declared without any hesitation
• The severe pain that pierced Alex's heart was immediately apparent on his face. He hadn't expected his mate to reject him so immediately and incredibly. But Alex also didn't expect his long-awaited mate to be the daughter of the strongest alpha in history.
• In a flash, Samantha escaped from Alex's sight. Her wolf seemed to have died inside at the decision she had made for the two of them. But there was nothing she could do.
• Samantha could not choose her happiness. Her father's pleasure had always been her priority. Samantha's father will reject her if she makes a decision that could ruin his plans.
• Samantha's running fast also caused her severe physical pain, as she collided with a body.
• "Samantha?" Elijah was surprised.
• "Alpha Elijah, I'm sorry I didn't see you because of my haste," Samantha replied.
• Elijah immediately helped Samantha get up.
• "Is there a problem? You seem anxious?" Elijah asked in astonishment. He looked at the place where she had come from earlier.
• "Nothing. I'm just tired of looking for where our servants are staying," Samantha excused her haste.
• "Then I'll show you the way, but I can't go with you because your father is already waiting for me," Elijah replied.
• "Pointing out the direction is enough for me. My father is more important. He doesn't like to wait," Samantha warned with a smile.
• Samantha and Elijah walked together in the direction of where the servants stayed.
• Meanwhile, on the side of the castle where Alex stood... he could see Samantha's smile while Elijah was with her. He can't help but clench his fists.
• "They stay at the end of the hallway, " Elijah said with a smile.
• "Thank you very much. When you are no longer busy, I will introduce you to my best friend," Samantha affirmed.
• "Maybe after the gathering. Right now, I'm afraid I don't have much time,"
• Samantha walked to the place where the servants were staying. She couldn't wait to tell Seraphine what happened to her when she saw her mate, whom she had quickly rejected.
• "Seraphine!" Samantha shouted.
• Seraphine immediately approached Samantha so the latter could not see that her roommate was Carol.
• "What are you doing here?" Seraphine asked, surprised.
• "You won't believe what happened to me! I found my real mate! He is the Beta of this pack!" Samantha whispered. She immediately looked around to make sure no one heard what she said.
• "I'm so happy for you!" Seraphine exclaimed.
• "You're happy? Have you forgotten that the alpha of the Crystal pack is my soon-to-be groom?" Samantha retorted.
• Seraphine's excitement for the friend disappeared and was replaced by concern.
