Chapter 31 Wild Is The Night

• “It’s party time! Time to get wiiild!”
• Taylor squeals excitedly as she pulls me into our school’s gymnasium. I must say, though, Sterling High really knows how to party. Our gymnasium is transformed into a magical place, kind of like the set of Bridgerton, adorned with twinkling fairy lights and opulent decorations everywhere. Taylor and I step through the entrance with our masks on, and I make sure to keep mine tightly over my face. Inside the hall, the masquerade ball is in full swing, a whirlwind of color, music, and laughter. Everyone is dressed to the nines, complete with their masks on, dancing and having the time of their lives.
