Chapter 6 Homecoming!

• Raajnandini's POV
• "Maa"
• I threw myself in the motherly embrace which has power to heal all my wounds unconditionally. Her feminine perfume fills my heart with security and peace.
• Her eyes shined as she looked at me.
• "I missed you so much"
• Her kiss on my forehead was all I needed.
• My eyes watered as I looked at her.
• "Raan!"
• She knows everything and I hate it that I can't hide anything from her.
• She made me sit on the couch and I placed my head on her shoulder.
• "Did I disappoint him again?"
• "No!"
• She caressed my head.
• "He loves you, you can never disappoint him... Don't even think like that..."
• She cupped my face as her eyes showed disappointment.
• "Why do you think like that?... Raan! You are an individual, you have life beyond a daughter of a mafia King. You are not obligated to put yourself aside just because you don't want to disappoint your father... I don't want that for you..."
• I love the fact that she always tries to lift me up. She protects my individuality and pride.
• "Massimo is your father and I know he can be overprotective, you can't even imagine what extent. If he wants, he can kill each and every man who looks at you but he won't because your brothers handle him... He is a father, he has grown in the darkness and his love for you is too restrictive but that doesn't mean he has a right to control your life... You are a grown woman, take power in your hand."
• "What's the use of taking power in my hand when there is no man who has the guts to face him..."
• I wiped my tears.
• "There must be someone... Don't lose hope."
• She patted my back.
• "Thanks, Mum..."
• I rested in her embrace letting her love me.
• "Ma'am dinner is ready?"
• I sat straight when the maid informed her.
• "Wait for sometime, Alex is coming... We are going to have dinner together."
• Maid nodded and went back to the kitchen.
• "Why is he coming here?"
• I scowled. Bastard!
• "Your father has invited him and his wife."
• She chuckled and that's weird because she hates Amanda.
• Amanda is Alex's wife. She is a model and god forbid my bad words but she is a whore. I pity Alex for getting her as a wife. I sometimes feel lucky that at least Dad is letting me choose my life partner while Alex was obligated to marry the woman he doesn't even like to see in front of him.
• Dominick already separated himself from Dad because he didn't want to marry Amanda which made Alex a scapegoat but he loves dad so he can die for him let alone marrying a woman he hates.
• "I am already frustrated enough... Why is that bitch coming here?..."
• I am in no mood to hear her ugly bitchy voice. I have never hated someone so much.
• "Guess, I'll be having dinner in my room."
• Maa laughed as she saw my irritated face.
• "Do you wanna know a secret?"
• She sounded mysterious.
• "The girl coming with Alex is not Amanda but someone who looks like her... Amanda went somewhere without informing anyone and her father kidnapped this girl from somewhere to put in Amanda's place just because she looks like her..."
• "What? That sounds so filmy and dramatic."
• Does a doppelganger really exist?
• "I know, right?... But anything can happen."
• She shook her head.
• "I suspect that Alex has hurt her, maybe he is taking out Amanda's anger on that innocent girl..."
• "Alex hurt her?"
• I know Alex has anger issues and he can hurt someone to an extent where a person can be alive still dead. He is dangerous.
• "I saw handprints on her cheek this morning... She denied that it was Alex but I saw the darkness in his eyes. I need to know that the girl is safe."
• I don't know why but she always cares about the women around her.
• "So we called them for dinner, if there is anything wrong then we will find out. Alex can't hide his anger and frustration for long."
• I don't know what craziness is going on in my family but I can sense the drama ahead.
• I hope this new girl is really innocent because if she is not then today we will see my father setting the blood of the river free.
• "Where is dad?"
• I haven't seen him since I came here.
• "He will be here in some time but make sure that your scarf doesn't leave your neck..."
• She smirked making gulp and realised that why people out there call her cunning woman, you can't really hide anything from her.
• "Your makeup is doing a great job but if I can notice it then so does he."
• She is scaring me!
• My heart skipped a beat when I heard his voice.
• "Did I miss something?"
• I slowly turned around to look at those deep Amber eyes. Tall and strong like a mountain, age hasn't affected him at all. His black hair neatly set back and dark stubble indicates that he just came out from the meeting. His sharp features still hold the power over people.
• His arrogant expressions softened as he pulled out his hands from his pockets and extended his arms for me. He might be the death for the world but to me he is my father. My protector!
• I smiled as I ran in his embrace.
• "Dad!"
• I hugged him tightly as he chuckled and wrapped his hands around me.
• "My little angel"
• He kissed my forehead lovingly.
• "How are you?..."
• "I am fine now that I have seen you..."
• I looked up at him and smiled.
• He patted my head.
• "I missed you."
• I love his smile.
• My mother looked at us adoringly, she knows he smiles only when we are around.
• He looked at her and pecked her lips while wrapping his hand around her waist and inhaling the scent of her hair. We all know that to what extent he is obsessed with her. He holds the craziness to burn the world down if someone puts a scratch on her.
• I manifest love like this where my man has the courage to turn against the world for me.
• When I talked about it in front of her she warned me not to manifest anything like that. I don't know what's wrong with that?
• I know what they have is darker and I can't even imagine the days when they figured it out but he loves her and that's what matters, right?
• She loves him and that's why she agreed to marry him even though he kidnapped her first. Or I am crazy to think that it's fine. That's really fucked up.
• He kidnapped her and that's wrong, she is right. I shouldn't be manif esting this.
• Alex broke my thoughts when he entered with the scared girl beside him which my mother talked about.
