• The sound of loud music abruptly roused Logan from his deep sleep, instantly recognizing it as Ashley’s phone. No other reason would warrant the repetitive chorus of a Lana Del Rey song.
• “Ashely,” Logan called out. However, Ashley remained undisturbed beside him, his grip tightening instead. Reaching around Ashley, Logan attempted to tickle her side, but was met with a sneer instead of laughter. Ashley was peculiarly ticklish yet reacted with anger rather than amusement when provoked.
