Chapter 5
- I ran out of the house like a mad woman but stopped when I entered the forest. The scent of earth and dampness hung in the air, mingling with the invigorating aroma of pine and the delicate fragrance of wildflowers. It was as if the forest itself exhaled life, filling my senses with its rich tapestry of scents and sounds. I sat down on the ground and cried my eyes out till my tears stopped pouring, then I stood up and started running again.
- I ventured into its verdant embrace, and a symphony of rustling leaves and hooting birds filled the air as I ran through the thick woods. I thought I had cried out my eyes with tears, but my vision became blurred by tears again that threatened to burst out. The towering giants of the forest, their trunks adorned with ancient moss, reached toward heaven, and their leafy crowns formed a lush canopy over my head.
- I had run out of the house barefooted in anger and, without noticing, I gnashed my left foot on a rock, and due to the immediate pain I felt, I lost my balance and stepped on a thorn. I looked down, only to see that thorns were scattered around the forest ground.
