- Ariana's gaze never left the man's face as she resumed eating. His look was striking—he possessed an otherworldly attractiveness that was almost disturbing. His hair, a waterfall of silvery white, flowed in beautiful waves about his shoulders, standing out against his piercing blue eyes that appeared to pierce straight through her. His complexion was pale, almost glowing in the faint light, and his attire, a perfectly cut suit of deep dark blue, added to the otherworldly atmosphere that surrounded him.
- "Thanks for the meal," he replied, rising from his seat and approaching the large square mirror affixed to the wall to have a closer look at himself. The mirror’s golden frame gleamed in the light, its intricate designs reflecting the wealth and tradition that permeated the room.
- She nodded in response to his appreciation and signaled for the maid to clear the table as she watched him adjust his suit and gaze at his reflection. The maid moved with practiced grace, silently removing the used dishes and cutlery.
