- “Your fans missed you, Candy. You shouldn’t disappear like that,” I knew what that meant: Don’t you dare disappear again. I was at the door of my room, thinking I could escape George today but it wasn’t the case.
- “I’m sorry, you know that family comes first. But I assure you it won’t happen again, honey. Thank you for caring about me,” I looked at him with sheepish eyes and he nodded slowly, lowering his face to give me a deep and violent kiss, almost breaking my lower lip a little. I felt the blood flow and held back a curse. He looked at me with a smile and gently caressed my cheek.
- “I like you better like this: Bruised. Come in already,” he urged me and left my space. I sighed deeply against the door, looking around exactly as I left it.
