• The second that Alpha Jakob leaves the room, I can’t stop the flood of tears from pouring down my cheeks. “I’m, I’m so sorry,” I manage to spit out through choked sobs. “Blake, I’m so sorry,” I say, reaching for his face where the split lip of his seems to be already healing.
