• After traveling for three days, we finally docked at Southwest Island, where Devon had exiled Jessabelle and her pups. The image I had when I landed was of an uninhabited island where there was only Jessabelle and a few children who were Devon and Jessabelle's flesh and blood.
• There would be no other inhabitants because all I knew about Southwest was that it was an empty island that was an asset that Devon had owned for a long time.
