• I left Ivanna to rest in her room. Hearing her say that Kay was coming made my chest heat up. I never thought that I would become a different Jax from myself. Now I was grimly justifying Ayden's words of calling me too melancholic.
• I lay down in my room. The room that Ivanna had provided for me. I don't know if that man named Kay knew that I had returned to being Ivanna's bodyguard; I couldn't forget how he kicked me out when he was seen Ivanna in the hospital.
