Chapter 79 What He Wanted

• “You can see him when he’s ready to see you,” he replied after a short moment where he seemed to consider my request seriously.
• I could sense his discomfort once again when I mentioned Anthony, but I couldn’t quite make out the reason why. That didn’t matter to me at all as long as I got what I wanted. It was so hard for me to believe that after all that I had been through that he was finally granting my wishes. Even though his agreement to all my demands seemed to come with conditions of his own, I was more than happy that we had reached an agreement. It occurred to me then that Bradon might not be as heartless and as unreasonable as I had originally thought. For once in what felt like a very long time, there seemed to be a ray of hope and a rainbow in the dark and cloudy sky that I called my current life.
