Chapter 43 Asking For It
- Despite everything, I still had my arms around his body as if I was hanging on to dear life. There was probably no logical reason but only my stubbornness that kept me hanging on to him. The cold look that he had in his eyes transformed momentarily into a look of desire. With amazing speed, Bradon untangled my arms from around his body before pushing me down onto the bed. I felt the softness of the mattress against my back before the bed shifted under his weight as he climbed onto the bed and on top of me.
- “Bradon…” I whispered his name.
- His large frame loomed over my body, trapping me beneath him against the mattress. I should have felt scared of him but that wasn’t what I felt as my breathing started to quicken. His blue eyes seemed several shades darker than before, and I found them so captivating. My eyes drifted downwards from his eyes to his perfectly straight nose and then his alluringly beautiful lips.
