Chapter 359 Mirage Reunion
- I wondered what Bradon was doing and if the two of them just continued on where they had left off after I practically ran out of the room. Now that my sister had returned, it felt like there was no room for me anymore. I felt like no one wanted or needed me anymore and once again I was reminded of the fact that perhaps I was nothing more than a spare and a stand-in for my sister. The only person who wanted me and was a little dependent on me was Desmond, with his twisted idea of how to incorporate me into his grand scheme.
- "I guess it might rain all night," I mumbled to myself. The sound of the rain beating down echoed all around me to the extent that I could barely hear myself. Strangely, despite the loud sound of the wind and rain, I managed to find some peace and solace. I leaned back and let out a loud sigh before closing my eyes as if it would help erase everything from my mind. The only relief to the pain was the fact that I knew that I would not be disturbed and until I felt like I was strong enough to face reality again, I could rest here.
