Chapter 84 Preventing A Pregnancy(1)
- Catherine slept deeply until dawn. When she woke up, her whole body ached, especially between her legs—a slight reminder of the night before. She stood up and noticed the room was already brightly lit. Anxiety gripped her immediately since she had never stayed out all night since Bella’s birth. Not returning home meant her mother must be very worried. She blamed Lucían for everything, yet she was also upset with herself for giving in to his demands repeatedly. She remembered his words from last night and promised herself it wouldn’t happen again. What had happened could not be repeated.
- Quickly, she went to the bathroom. Standing in front of the mirror, she saw the marks on her body, and resentment towards Lucían reached its peak. As she looked at herself, she traced each mark he had left. “I can still feel him inside me, taking everything and pushing me to the limit over and over again.” The thought sent a strong wave of desire through her blood. “He treated me as if I were his property." With these thoughts, her eyes widened, and her mind was flooded with a carousel of images—every time she climaxed, moaned, and begged. “No! Enough, Catherine!” she questioned herself. “This cannot, and will not, happen again.”
- When she got up a little while ago, she didn’t see it. Catherine bathed and felt much better. The two towels had been used yesterday, and she had to go out like this. There was no one in the room, so there was no problem. In the living room, she saw a complete set of clothes—from underwear to a coat. “You still have some conscience!” she said. She put on the clothes. However, she did not appreciate them; he had destroyed hers yesterday, so it was only fair that he paid for a new one. This was a dress similar to the one she wore yesterday. When she finished dressing, she saw a note on the coffee table. There was only one sentence: “I had an emergency at the ministry; we will have dinner together tonight.” “Go to hell! Who’s going to have dinner with you?” She just wanted to tear Lucían into a thousand pieces, to vent her hatred. She took the paper and tore it into pieces, took a deep breath, and examined her body. She had to make sure there were no consequences. Then she opened the door to leave but was surprised by the person outside.
