• After seeing my daughter, Jack arrived with information, and I quickly headed to my study. The security video from the James mansion had captured a suspicious man, who was now in our custody. Something told me that this person would provide information about Catherine’s whereabouts. Without wasting time, I grabbed the car keys and headed towards where my men had him. Jack and Daniel were following behind me.
• As I entered the dark hallway leading to the soundproof basement, my body tensed. The air around me was stale, and my steps were firm against the silence as I prepared for the worst. I opened the door and saw a bloodied man tied to a chair. The basement room was empty, except for the chair in the middle and a table in the back, with four of my men standing around him. They were my trusted men. At that moment, I didn’t recognize the prisoner, but when he looked at me, his eyes were filled with terror. I approached him, his already pale face contorted in pain. He recoiled against the chair when I stopped in front of him.
