• “You are treading on dangerous ground. I’ll advise you to stay off my path and try not to upset the wrong people, it may cost you your life.” I warned. I wasn’t expecting a response after giving him that warning, but I got one anyway,
• “I’m going to share three vital pieces of information with you. Then I’ll back down and let you chase down the leads I gave to you. If it turns out to be true, then you have no choice but to work with me. But if it doesn’t pan out, if you think I’m wasting your time, you can choose to ignore m, and I won’t dare to bother you ever again.” He offered. This got me interested in his deal, I got curious because I don’t think he would be offering me any information at all. Not unless he meant what he said earlier, that he can help me take down Austin Foster for good.
• “You have my attention,” I responded eagerly, waiting patiently for his next message. A part of me is hoping that he turns out to be a fraud. I don’t work well with strangers, I don’t play nice at all and it tends to cause a bit of a misunderstanding sometimes. Not to mention the fact that I don’t like dealing with snitches myself. They may have some vital information, but a snitch would always be a snitch. Who is to tell if he/she would not turn around and betray me someday as well.
