• I didn’t bother to touch the laptop, I just sat there and waited for Liam to show up with the tech guy. There is no need to tamper with the laptop anymore, I could mistakenly wipe off any evidence that could be of help to us. As I sat there, I kept thinking hard about it, I kept wondering why Riley would send his laptop to my house, what could he be playing at, and what is he up to.
• I wanted to pick up my phone and call him, but I heard a car pulling up in my driveway and I know that it has to be Liam. So I put off every other task and waited for them to come in. I should get a little more information before contacting him. For his sake, I hope this is just a big misunderstanding. If I find out that he planned all this just to hurt me, I’ll make sure he pays for putting me through all this stress.
