• “I’m not sitting around for you to do everything for me, Drake. I’m bored and I’m so fucking tired of sitting around the house, doing nothing. I need this contract, you know what this contract means to me and my family. I don’t know what I’ll do if the contracts are not awarded to us.
• I need to be there, I need to be sure that I did everything possible to get that contract, please Drake, just take me with you. I promise, I won’t do anything stupid, I won’t do anything to ruin your hard work, I’ll be good, I’ll be reasonable, I promise.” I kept pleading with Drake as he sat in the dining, having his dinner. Charles, Casey, and their kids were sitting around the dining table as well, but I couldn’t care less. I just want to leave this house and I want to resume work. I’m sure they understand my frustration, they know how long I’ve been enduring this boredom and they sympathize with me as well. But Drake doesn’t seem to care about my feelings. Sometimes I feel he is still punishing me for what I did three months ago. He said he has forgiven me and does everything I ask of him, but he just wouldn’t let me out of this house for any reason whatsoever.
