• On Wednesday morning, during the first self-study period, the homeroom teacher, Lauren, walked into Class 20, clutching a stack of test scores. Her expression wasn't particularly pleasant.
• The students of Class 20 were used to this sight; after every exam, Lauren looked as if she had just received the worst possible news.
• "This time, overall, the class did quite well. Among you, Freya and Nezu Gynita have made the most significant improvements.
