Chapter 59 Alpha Blake And Seleste

  • I can’t believe it is morning already. Yesterday was pretty eventful. After I was rescued, we met with everyone remotely. Alpha Clark had to leave the meeting to deal with his pack. They figured out the traitor. It turns out her name is Tracey. I don’t know where Jenay came from. Maybe that was the alias she used with the rebels. I need to mention the name Tamaska heard to Rose just in case there is another traitor. I sent Rose a quick text just telling her that Tamaska heard that the traitor’s name was Jenay instead of Tracey. After a couple minutes, Rose texted back and said that Tracey’s cousin said that Tracey often goes by Jenay when she is away from the pack. Okay. I’m glad that is settled. I would hate to think Rose and Garnett would be dealing with multiple traitors. Although I know Rose can handle anything those she-devils throw at her and Garnett will back her up one hundred percent.
  • Councilman Bari let us know that the video surveillance of the council house did not reveal the actual council member but gave them clues to the identity of the person. They saw family members of one of the council members. The grandson of a mid-level councilman was seen at the house meeting with other rebels and discussing attack plans. After I was rescued, they all quickly left the area. The council member’s grandson actually called the council member when he was leaving the area, but they were not able to listen in on the call. It’s pretty fair to assume the member is involved, but we need to get concrete evidence against him. Councilman Bari advised everyone to get some rest and be ready to meet up tomorrow evening after Alpha Clark and Rose have handled the traitor at their pack.
  • After being dismissed, Alpha Blake and I spent a little time with my father and video chatted with my mother. My mom told him that he better take good care of him or she will personally come to see him. I told him that my mom was serious, and she was deadlier than my dad. He just smiled and told my mom that he will always take care of me. My mom seemed satisfied that I was in good hands. Jarvis and I stepped out of the conference room, so my mom and dad could have some alone time. They do not spend a lot of time apart. When my dad traveled for the pack, we usually went with him as a family unless it was a mission. He would keep his time away to a minimum.
