• It's already the next morning and I'm just about to leave. Kayden is too as well and though it's a bittersweet moment that almost leads me to tears, I just have to control myself. This isn't the first time I've had to tell him goodbye before he left for a journey but somehow, this hits different and I can't even tell the emotions spiralling within me.
• "Evelyn, you're pregnant, remember? Please relax." Tara cautioned and I took a deep breath. Of course, I'm pregnant so this might be my pregnancy hormones flying all over the place and causing me to feel sad for no reason.
• Speaking of which, since I had been able to convince Kayden to let me go, we had both decided that we wouldn't tell anyone till I got back because if I announced the news, there's no way Ana and Elsie would let me go.
