Chapter 96 Them In His Home

  • Back at the Huxley's home, a small gathering took place. Photos of Zora adorned the walls. Mr. Klein poured a glass of whiskey and handed it to Huxley. "To Zora," he said, raising his glass.
  • The evening was filled with sorrow. Huxley couldn't help but let his tears fall as he remembered his Sister which surely got the attention of other families too. Huxley felt so grateful for them having his side. Huxley and Zora had no parents as they died at early ages. But the three families never forgot to treat them like their kids.
  • As the night wore on, Huxley found himself in the backyard, staring up at the starry sky. He could almost hear Zora's voice in the rustling of the leaves. Devon, Chris, and Anton joined him, Chris's arm around his shoulders. "She's still with us, Huxely.” Chris didn't know how to comfort the elder. They never had this kind of tragedy in their family.
