Chapter 3 Threatening Her

• The silence took place. Everyone was frozen in their place. Her answer shocked them.
• “Do you know what you are talking about, Iza...” Mrs Schmitz was done with her daughter's crazy talk. After all, she didn't know what happened just because of this engagement.
• “I know Mom... I... I just want to focus on studying... It's still early to think about marriage and all” She shook her head.
• “It's not like you are going to marry him soon right? You have enough time right” Mrs Schmitz was pissed already. She got up from the bed. After a small break, Mr Schmitz said, shocking everyone.
• “Ok... I will talk to the elders...” Everyone's gaze turned towards Mr Schmitz who let his words out. The one who was happy here was Judi.

• “Aish... These girls... I spoiled them so much...” Angel rubbed her forehead as Judi approached her.

• Devon was standing there, tugging his both hands in his pocket. She got up from the bed and walked towards the balcony.
• She stood there, supporting her hands on the railing. She was admiring the beauty of the garden she made for her twin sister. After a long time, she was feeling the cold breeze that came from the garden. She was standing barefoot. That's when she felt warm around her.
• “You are recovering. Don't get cold once again” Devon said. She couldn't look into his eyes directly. She felt guilty about something.
• “Why are you avoiding me lza?” Devon said standing against the railing, balancing himself on the railing. She looked at Devon and averted her gaze from him. He scoffed under his breath.
• “It's just an arranged marriage. You don't have to force yourself into a relationship. It won't be beneficial at all” She said, making the elder sneer.
